THE HEART AND SOUL OF CHRISTMAS!

Christmas is about love. Caring about another over yourself, spending the time to do the little things to make the holiday special for loved ones. Christmas is also about togetherness. Being with the people you love, laughing, sharing a meal, sharing happy memories. But what this CHRISTMAS really signifies?
Christmas to me is a celebration, which includes spending time with my family, decorating the entire house, inside and out, and shopping, for the people I love. And to make this CHRISTMAS more elegant, we are creating such symbols. Christmas tree is one of the ciphers most easily associated with the festival of Christmas. The Christmas tree takes the pride of place in every living room of every home from Christmas and right up to New Year. Decorating a Christmas tree spells family time as it brings the whole family together right before and at Christmas time. Usually decorations start way ahead of the eve of Christmas. One can get as creative or individualistic as they want to in the process of looking after and decorating their Christmas tree. Everyone loves receiving gifts on Christmas. Children, with their innocence wait eagerly for Santa Claus to bring them gifts. In many countries children hang stockings believing that it will be filled with goodies by Santa Claus.
Christmas is about giving. Doing things for others - collecting food for the needy, helping with toy distributions to needy children. Remembering those less fortunate. Doing this with the people I love is what means the most to me.
Christmas is the coming of the Messiah.
I feel so fortunate, to have my family throughout the year, but especially, at Christmas time. When showing, my family just how much I love them and what exactly they mean to me. That is so very important to me. Christmas, for me is also about being with family, loving each other and showing each other just exactly how we all feel.
                                      MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

Act to change ...

"Filipinos are worth dying for." Yes! as we continue to face challenges and obstacles we can do something about it. We can built a peaceful nation. But the challenge is, can we make a change without any corruption or earthly doings?
Doing something and working as one is a success. We can reach our dreams. We cannot deny that we're living a very ungraceful and corrupted country. We must do something. It's not yet too late for us to act we are the brawn and the brains that top propel our nation.
This only shows that corruption can be vividly seen in the social, political and economic aspect of society.Corruption has always been a major issue in our society and in the government. Moreover, the impending progress of our country is put on hold because corruption is hindering it. One consequence of this lull in the economy’s growth is the deprivation of some basic needs of its citizens such as education. The poor quality of education and infrastructure of citizens of this Republic further undermines the prospects of liberation from the bondage of poverty. Because government resources are constrained, environment protection programs are also neglected. Given that corruption amplifies widespread poverty, the escalating rate of crimes is not surprising to hear. An example is that the problem with the increasing production of illegal drugs and prostitution can be linked solidly to corruption.
Suggestions and solutions are open but actions are much needed the time to act is now!

"Women = Men"

In our present time it cannot be denied that we are living in a universe where competition occurs. And one issue about this is discrimination in our society, inequity in terms of gender or status.
Nation pledged to advanced equality, development  and peace for all women and men everywhere. Everything that man  can do it will also be a challenge to women. There is really a big change now in our society for back when we we're still living in olden days, only man can work everything. Man is working for the family. And women are doing some household chores at their own houses. There is now really a huge change. Women can now walk on with their own hands and feet.
Through them I could relate the most important social, political and economic trends of the century. Their achievements, as well as their missteps, tell us a story of Philippines that we most often hear of in snatches, or read about in digressions. Though we are making an effort to improve women's right for equality, the Filipino dream is still yet to be achieved by many mothers, sisters, aunts, wives, and daughters.
How many times have you heard "All men are equal"? . In today's society it has been taken literally. Yes all men are created equal but are women created equal as well? Of course not, most would probably say yes but women are a minority in this country.
Equality in education is an important issue, as gender equality guidelines improve education for both men and women. The goal of providing better education for women does not mean neglecting or suppressing men. By placing men and women on an equal level, the relatively increased valuing of women will also benefit men by informing them of the strengths, capabilities and contributions of members of the opposite sex. It may also decrease the pressure many boys feel to conform to the traditional roles, behaviors and ways of thinking. Eventually, the stereotypes may be counteracted and eliminated, so education will be more gender balanced.
There is really a big change. Don't ever discriminate anyone.

WHEN IS THE TIME TO ACT!? ...

We all know that we're now living in a new kind of generation. In fact,it helps our country to move and change the life we're living before.A life which exemplifies the very poor and un-upgraded country. But wait ... something is wrong, since these doings and technologies have improve our nation, a problem occured ...CLIMATE CHANGE...
Well, we have nothing to blame but ourselves who are the primary reason through all of these. We are the one's who are making destruction to our nature and our Mother Earth. But we, specially experts are not stopping to bring back and control this catastrophe. We are all trying to make things better, being eco-friendly. And as a student, I can say that I can be a part of this solution. I can make little ways and little things through these. Recycling things and make into useful ones instead of burning them that can be harmful to our health and our ozone layer. So to resolve these problems, we need to do some ways. Recycling is a great way to conserve resources and help the environment. Remember the 3R's: REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE. Maybe, we could say that these things are very small but for me, I consider this as a big thing and a biog contribution. Big things come from small things and I believe in that. Every small contribution, if put together, can be a lot.
We must start doing change right now!!!not tomorrow or next year!Suggestions and solutions are open but ACTIONS ARE MUCH NEEDED!!

Beyond this Quarter ...

This 2nd grading period,I have learned a lot.I can see improvements and changes in my works most especially to my posts.
This quarter, I have proven myself that blogging is not that hard. You just have to have a virtuous teacher who is willing to share her expertise in such field just to educate students. We are very gratified that Ma’am Evelyn has done a good job in edifying us.
And also, in this quarter, I have developed a sense of good attribution in me. I have learned how to ask for forgiveness and how to admit mistakes. Now I already know why erasers in pencils are only small. That is to remind us that we can correct past errors we have committed but chances are only limited so we must watch our every move.Every seconds count.
We'll be leaving our school but the true value of friendship will remain.

"Promoting Digital Literacy Through English Proficiency"

Life is now very easy. Why? because of the new technology that we are now using. We can't deny that we are now living in a modernized world, but how can we continue promoting this Digital Literacy through the use of  English Proficiency?
Laptops, computers, cameras and others have evolve our generation, from the simple life we are living before is now a life of new and modernized world. We all know that the Philippines is very competitive interms of the new devices and technologies that we are now using. These digital things have been contributing a lot to the global civilization. If there are people who knows a lot about digitalization, there are also who are not literate and not that good interms of the new technology. If people could not manipulate those digitally man made things, how can we continue uplifting our naton?
English language is our universal and most used dialect in the whole wide through. We can use this to promote our new technologies. We are one. Yes, lets make our country one of the most powerful place of all time in terms of the new technologies and the usage of English Language. We are the brains and the brawns top propel our nation . "FUSION"

Genuine education is dynamic. It is never content with what has been. It makes itself relevant by combining the reliability of the past and progression of the present with the help of chemistry and science clubbing.
In our young age we want to be something someday,. When they ask us, our reply will always be someone like a lawyer, doctor, policeman , engineer, or just plain rich. It will take some searching to find a youth who wants to develop country's economic status. By the fusion of chemistry and science clubbing , we can sustain the country's needs.By the use of our resources, we can satisfy our needs. Our land give us innumerable wealth.  Yet these resources do not satisfy us in proportion to what we know all because only few have the initiative to go and find for them. If only we walk hand in hand with the aid of science clubbing and chemistry, we'll now be in a progressive country.Let us then intensify our efforts for the call of new generation. The answer is at hand. Suggestions and solutions are open but actions is much needed.
Fellow members of the science club, we recognize that science and chemistry play a major role in the realization of our vision and mission of making the country a place where the least among us enjoys the basic necessities of life. We are the architects of our own destiny. We are the brains; the brawn needed upon top propel our nation to any level of greatness. The only thing lacking is the desire to begin and initiative to continue. It is now the time to act.

"Saviour of the Bravian"

I never dreamed but she came into my life.I never wished but she extended her love to me as her second child. She changed and molded my holistic personality.I don't know but I just need to salute her,for she's my one and only superstar! She is my teacher! She is my HERO...
She is the first person I can see in school. With a smile as bright as sunshine. With loving heart and a friendly soul.Still she is the last one to go home. With a promise of wonderful day ahead, she is my true friend, the only hero of my world,my second mother! She consoles me when I am hurt, helps me through hard times, celebrates my victories however small they may be.She loves me and my classmates in a big way,too big to say in words but we really owe her!I really idolized her a lot! There is no molder that is better than a teacher! She is the light of my life.A city built on a hill cannot be hid.No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lamppost, still she gives light to all the students.
It is never severed in her heart, that bond lasts forever. As we grow up we become extraordinary people. She nurtured our minds with knowledge and filled our hearts with love .So remember this, she will never forget you and never stop loving you! That is my teacher! My one and only hero!

"SUPERHUMAN"

Have you seen Darna or Captain Barbell flying up in the sky? Searching for people who seeks help and save the day from invaders?
How I wish I can be like the Superheroes from 1890's until the 1990's for sure they will recognize me for the greatest superhero ever! Yeah! but are those superheroes really exist? Yes, he is my modern day hero, he is my father. He can only dream of the Day when he looks at his father and sees an exact copy of himself. Well that's how it was for me ever since I was little and every once in a while I could just picture being just like my dad when I grow up. He is the most responsible, trustworthy, honest, and hardworking person I have ever met. He does have a very short temper and has absolutely no patience but nobody is perfect. I don't think I could ask for a better father. This is a man so masculine, so strong looking you dare not approach him. As he approaches, he bestows upon you aggressive behavior; however, he then surprises you with the most beautiful smile and friendliest personality you have ever seen. This is the true essence of my father, a man not only misunderstood by society because of his appearance, but also his tone. Growing up my father had a hard life. Sometimes his family has a difficult time just putting bread on the table; his father was a senile, threatening, anger ridden man who simply thought the world was out to get him. He is really my hero for he looks after me though he have a lot of works to do. He's not that handsome but he looks like me. Definitely! he saves me from my mother whenever mom scold me. He really loves me I knew that!
My father is my modern day hero. He gives me anything more than he do. In every ways I know his there, though he can not fly or soar, he can keep me from flying to the end of my success.

MY REFLECTION THIS FIRST GRADING PERIOD :D

This first grading, I have learned a lot of things.I realized that we are not only studying lessons about ICT IV,yet i learned about the true meaning of friendship and living.
I gained new more things about the history of internet, its services and tools. And the people who developed and improved it.The most special lesson that I learned was the usage of the blog that I'am now using.Having a blog is very exciting, you can win more friends and you can benefit from itself.
The situations that ruined  my ICT IV life was when I typed the outputs lately and I have no time to do my works.I can not do them as fast that I can and it's so happen that I have a lot of things to cover up with my daily schooling.
I address those things by simply using my time wisely.I did my priorities and obligations with the right time I need to meet.
Moving on,I will treasure those learnings I gained and most specially I will not forget what was reconciliation really means.I like my friends for they backfight me but I love them because they are telling the truth and they do love me just the way they could.IT'S NOT ABOUT THE WAR BUT THE EXPERIENCED WE'VE SHARED.I LOVE ICT IV!!!Hope this coming grading periods, I will learn more and gain more. I knew that our TEACHER is a great MOLDER and a good COUNSELOR.   xD

SONA:Can it change FILIPINOS LIFE?

State of the Nation Address is an annual event here in the Philippines in which the president reports on the status of the nation, normally to the resumption of a joint session of the congress (House of representatives) and the senate.
According to the constitution, the SONA is delivered every fourth Monday of July at the Batasan Pambansa Complex in Batasan Hills Quezon City. This is a duty of the president as stated in the Article VII Section 23 of the 1987 Constitution. The President shall address the Congress at the opening of its regular session. He may also appear before it and any other time.
This SONA is very important for the reason that this serves as a communication between the president and the Filipinos as a whole. It gives more information about what is happening to the economy of the country and what are the problems we are encountering and the possible answers or solutions of the problems.
With the total number of over 88,574,614 population of the country, our P-Noy accepted the risk and challenges that he may encounter. I salute him.Yet may this SONA serve as his guide to maintain his started plans and make his inspiration not to a wrong way of governing the country but to a better and progressive way of living.

"Isulong ang Breastfeeding, Tama, Sapat at Eksklusibo"

Live Life to the Fullest!
(Let's Use Breastfeeding)

They say that the best milk ever is from our mother and not from any of the commercial milks that we can now see and buy.Every now and then,we're celebrating the month of nutrition particularly the month of July.
As we now go beyond any existence,we now know that our health is our wealth.Money cannot buy good health rather we can use this for buying/consuming better and healthier food. And as the nutrition month goes on,we should pursue and promote the theme:"Isulong ang Breastfeeding, Tama, Sapat at Eksklusibo",which means keep on using breastfeeding for it is right, exact and exclusive for the health of the babies in our country and the world as a whole. For the information of others, breast milk has calcium, vitamin B, and other components that can help our babies maintain nice health and progressive body. Our mommies should eat nutritious foods specially to those pregnant mother who have babies, wherein if they are going to use breast feeding it will help their babies grow healthier.
The country is promoting this program for a better lifestyle of the human raise and as a matter of fact, every year the country is changing the theme to preserve the started nature of the people which is the "Nutrition Month Celebration". Let's have a good choice and oneness to achieve our goals in life and to live life to the happiest and healthiest thing on earth.
                                                       Let's Use BREASTFEEDING!!!

President's Desk:A Letter For the President

To Our Dearest President,

Let me greet you a pleasant day and congratulate you Sir for having been the best President this past few months. It's not because for winning as a President of the Republic of the Philippines yet because for succeeding some projects which we are now using.
But at the present situation of our country,we are still suffering from poverty. There are still malnourish children seeking for food and water. The lost of lots or shelter is also one of these. We are living an area  of 300,00 sq. kilometers but only half of this is used and benefited, all because the other half are the lots which we construct our establishments and buildings.Yes Sir,though we are now living in the "MODERN TECHNOLOGY" there are still disadvantages particularly to those small people like us.
If only we can control and manage the people leading us, there is no corruption . I'm not pertaining to anyone Sir but please help us. Help us to save uor country from "invaders and strangers" getting out the budget of the Philippines which is supposed to use for the filipinos as a whole. But, I salute you Sir, for over 88,574,614 population of our country, you accepted the challenges and tools the risk. I really do respect you and i now apologize for the sake of the whole filipinos who are against in our service and position.
Thank You very Much Mr. President!...

                                                                                          Yours,
                                                                                  Jaynard Lamarca
